The invention relates to a stand which can be fitted to various types of trolley (truck) in order to provide the user with a work surface, a vice, and also a support for the blow torch. The device consists of an upright (3) serving to fasten onto the trolley and supporting the plate (1). This plate deploys about a spindle and releases the upright (2) which pivots about a spindle and allows the telescopic leg (4) to be unlocked.
