PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the dimension from a radiator to an electric motor (fan shaft dimension) along the flow of cooling air. SOLUTION: A front end panel 400 is formed by aluminum die-casting, and a motor 300 is disposed at a position deviating from the center of rotation of a fan 200 to drive the fan 200 via a belt 310. As a result, the fan shaft dimension can be reduced, and the thermal damage to the motor 300 can be prevented. Further, since the panel 400 is formed by aluminum die-casting, such problems as the strength shortage of the panel 400 against the tension force of the belt 310 and the deterioration with age of the panel 400 (creep deformation) do not arise, and a sufficient tension force can be continuously secured. Therefore, the reliability (durability) of the panel 400 can be improved.
