<p>The profile component comprises a semi-rigid profile core in which a central hollow and two lateral even areas (3,4) generally of differing widths, are provided. Each of the areas is provided with at least two projections (5) extending in the same direction as the hollow. On the opposing surface to the two projections of the side area (4), a flap (6) which is inclined and of larger width is fitted and is directed to the outer end of the side area (4). The central hollow is either semi-circular or trapezoidal in cross-section. The semi-rigid profile core (1) is of plastic, pref. PVC. Between the central hollow (2) and the side areas (3,4), two grooves (7,8) are provided which facilitate the removal of one or both of the side areas.</p> |
