The seal closing the annular gap (S) between cover (4) and pot wall (2) from the elastomeric pressure pad (1) is designed as an open, one-piece compact ring (5) of rectangular cross-section which is made of a PTFE material of amorphous consistency filled with a powdery substrate. Here, the proportion of filling substrate to the total volume of the annular seal is preferably between 15 and 40 % and the filling substrate has a proportion of 50 to 100 % of powdered coal. ……
