<p>The apparatus using contact material horizontally reciprocated, performs biological treatment of waste water. The apparatus comprises a treatment tank (10) for storing wastewater, contact material (20) submerged in the wastewater, support body (30) for supporting the material (20), driving means (40) for horizontally reciprocating the body (30). The apparatus prevents thickening of biological surface layer attached on the material (20) by controlling reciprocating velocity of the means (40).</p> |
