PURPOSE:To utilize a space inside a lens barrel with high efficiency by setting a switching mechanism between a gear mechanism for automatic focus adjustment and an automatic focus adjusting mechanism, and a manual focus adjusting mechanism appropriately. CONSTITUTION:There are provided an intermediate cylinder 9 which holds a lens for focusing which is movable in the optical axis direction, a front group lens barrel 10, and a rear group lens barrel inside a fixed cylinder 1. Besides, an electro-magnetic motor 14 and a gear train 15 which transmits driving torque from the motor 14 is provided at the intermediate cylinder 9, and clutch mechanisms 16, 17 which switch engagement/disengagement of the gear train 15 are disposed. Moreover, a clutch operating member 4 is disposed so as to move for a facing member 7 provided with the fixed cylinder 1. Then the clutch mechanism 16, 17 and the clutch operating member 4 are engaged so as to interlock with each other for the movement of the clutch mechanisms 16, 17 in the optical axis direction with the movement of the lens holding members 9-10 in the optical axis direction. |
