The pines (15, 16) locating against the spectacles frame lower edges are part of a double-armed lever (13) fitted at the ends of two pivotably mounted levers (9). The other ends are fitted to a base plate (1). The pivot axes of the pivot levers are arranged with clearance to the lower spectacles frame edge in the region of the nose part. The pivot levers are tensioned by at least one spring in the direction of the striaght edge (21) agianst which the upper edges of the spectacles frame fit. The spring is linked at its ends with the central area of the pivot levers between the pivot axes and the double-armed lever. The pivot levers in the area of their pivot axes are coupled to one another in counter-running movement directions. USE - To secure a spectacles frame during work processes.
