The present invention relates to 8-amino-1,2,4-triazolo[4,3-a]pyrazines represented by the formula: <IMAGE> in which R and R' can be identical or different and are hydrogen or a 2,2,2-trifluoroethyl, acyl, cycloalkyl or linear or branched alkyl radical or else R and R' form, with the adjacent nitrogen atom, a heterocycle having 4 to 7 members, optionally containing another hetero atom; R<3> is hydrogen or a linear or branched alkyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylmethyl, 2-(cycloalkyl)ethyl, 2-cyclopentenylmethyl, alkoxymethyl, trifluoromethyl, (dimethylamino)methyl, benzyl or furyl radical or the phenyl radical, optionally substituted by 1 or 2 halogen atoms or by the methyl or methoxy radical; R<5> and R<6> are identical and are hydrogen, an alkyl radical or the phenyl radical; or R<5> and R<6> are joined together and together form the tetramethylene radical. Applications of these compounds as bronchodilators.
