<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a duplication origin recording medium from being damaged by detecting the fact that an incorrect recording medium is loaded based on the presence/absence of an identification signal on a loaded recording medium, and issuing an alarm without performing the read/write of data. CONSTITUTION:When the duplication origin recording medium X is loaded, a control part 11 stores the specific code of the medium X in a specific code storage part 4. Next, when a duplication destination recording medium Y is loaded, the control part 11 inserts the identification code representing the middle way of duplication to the medium Y. Next, when a medium X' is loaded, a specific code judging part 5 judges whether or not the specific code of the medium X' is the same one stored in the storage part 4. As a result of judgement, when a duplication destination recording medium identifying part 7 judges that the specific code is same and also, the medium is not the one on the middle way of duplication, it is assumed as X'=X, and a part on the medium X instructed by the control part 11 is read in a data storage part 1. Meanwhile, when it is judged as X=X', or when the medium is judged as the medium Y on the middle way of duplication, the alarm is issued, and the taking out of the medium X' and the loading of a correct medium X are requested.</p> |
