PURPOSE:To quickly execute a response of an exposing device against an operation of a release button by executing an AE operation until its end even if a release switch is turned on in the course of the AE operation, driving to control an exposing means, based on its result and executing an exposure. CONSTITUTION:An AE operation and storage means 2 continues an AE operation processing even if a release switch SW 12 becomes ON in the course of executing the AE operation processing. When the SW 12 becomes ON, in the case of a servo or manual AF mode, a control means 3 drives to control an exposing means 5, based on a storage value, when the storage contents of a release SW state storage means is ON, and allows the AE operation and storage means 2 to execute the AE operation processing and drives to control the exposing means 5, based on its operation value, when the storage contents are OFF. In the case of a single AF mode, before the exposing means is driven to control, the AE operation and storage means 2 is allowed to execute the AE operation, and based on its operation value, the exposing means is driven to control. In such a way, the time when the exposure is executed actually after the release switch becomes ON is shortened. |
