PURPOSE:To allow tape to be properly cut to a required length around an outlet by foolproof operation by providing a cutter which works by pushbutton operation for cutting the tape around the outlet. CONSTITUTION:The adhesive face at the end of a tape 2a exposed from an outlet 7 is sticked to a given place on the surface of an opposite body 20. Then, while the tape 2a is pressed against the surface of the opposite body 20 by a pressing member 18, a case 1 is moved in the sticking direction so that the tape 2a may be drawn out gradually from the outlet 7. Thereafter, a pushbutton 3 protruding from the case 1 is pressed so as to cause a lever 5 to synchronize therewith to move to the right within the case 1, and a table holder 10 is moved in the same direction so as to cause its bow spacer 10d to move away from the outlet 7. The pushbutton is pressed further so that its bottom part may cause a cutter 17 to move down along a channel guide 16 to cut the tape 2a to a given length at the outlet 7.
