PURPOSE:To improve a color-forming material in color fastness to light and stability with time, by a method wherein a layer containing a substantially colorless color former having electron donative properties and an organic metallic compound shown by a specific formula is provided on a substrate to form a color developer sheet. CONSTITUTION:A coating liquid is prepared by dissolving an electron donative colorless color former and an organic metallic compound shown by a formula I, II, or III [M is Ni, Cu, Co, or Zn; X1, X2 are O, S, or NR5 (R5 is H, alkyl, and others); X3 represents hydroxyl or mercapto; Y is O, S, or CHR6 (R6 is H, alkyl, and others); and R1, R2, R3, and R4 represent H, halogen, cyano, and others] in a solvent. This coating liquid is applied on a substrate and dried to form a color developer sheet. |
