PURPOSE:To stably hold a spring member by providing chuck claws which interposingly hold the coiled part of said spring member while simultaneously interposingly holding an arm part which extends from said coiled part, to guide said spring member. CONSTITUTION:When air pressure is fed from a port 13, pistons 12a, 12b are pushed outward respectively, causing chuck arms 16a, 16b to swing, to close chuck claws 22a, 22b. Since the piston 12a which has a larger diameter than the piston 12b, has a larger force, the chuck claw 22a is closed while pushing the chuck claw 22b. The backing of the pushed chuck claw 22b is stopped in a position in which the chuck arm 16b is brought into contact with a stopper 19b. And, a spring member 3 can be stabilized, with not only its coiled part 3a but also its arm part 3b being simultaneously held between the chuck claws 22a, 22b. |
