摘要 The invention relates to a device which makes it possible, at will, to define the shape of the leading edge elastically, and to take up all or part of the forces that the tension on the wing generates on it. It consists of a bar 1 which is attached, via its foot, onto the leading edge 2 to the rear of the transverse link L represented by the cross strut 3 (type 1) or by guying 4 onto the keel 5 (type 2), and, in which the axis of its head is held away from that of the leading edge 2 by guying 6 or 8 or by a spar 7. The bar is intended to exert, on the leading edge 2, to the rear of the transverse link L, a force or a torque or, jointly, a force and a torque. This device thus gives control of the shapes of the wings plan, of its tension and of its flexibility both in flight and on the ground. It may moreover confer passive assistance for piloting during turning manoeuvres. It also makes it possible to produce double-sweepback and double-dihedral wings. The device according to the invention is particularly intended to improve performance in terms of penetration, in handling and in strength of ultra-light gliders of the flexible hang-glider delta or trapezoidal-shaped type for free flight or for a motorised microlight. <IMAGE>
