PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of the endurance test, by disengaging the rotary body of a damper under test and a frame with a reciprocating load tester being fixed, imparting static rotary force to damper rubber, engaging the body and frame again, and applying a dynamic reciprocating rotary force. CONSTITUTION:A reciprocating load testing device 18 is stopped, and a rotary body 5 of a damper-under-test attaching device 1 is freely rotated with respect to a frame 6. A static load device 3 is driven, and the rotary body 5 of the damper-under-test attaching device 1 is rotated and energized in one direction. The damper under test 4 is twisted in one direction, and the twisting torque and the angle are measured. The rotary body 5 is fixed to the frame 6 and the reciprocating load testing device 18 is driven. A rotary shaft 7 is slowly reciprocated and rotated. The load torque is measured and the endurance test is conducted. Thus the static spring constant of the damper under test 4 is determined, and the quality of the rubber damper can be confirmed. |
