<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the stagnation of unnecessary articles and the shortage of the necessary articles to enhance the efficiency of production in a production line having a plurality of working steps for a plurality of articles, by generally observing the result and progress of working of a production unit in the entire production line. CONSTITUTION:Names of a working process, numbers of devices to be used and working conditions, are recorded on recording mediums 10 such as, for example, magnetic cards which are in the number required for each article, and are stored on storage racks 3 which are arranged in accordance with the technical order of the working process. For example, when the working is carried out with the use of a processing machine 4, a most preferential article name and a working process name are selected by observing the accumulated production amount of the articles in each storage rack, and then the recording medium 10 corresponding to the relevant production unit is read by a recording device 2 to confirm and update the progress of the working process. The thus obtained data are transferred to the relevant working process together with the production unit. Further, the data are delivered to a reading and recording device 7 to start the working process while the result of the working is recorded. After completion of the working process the data are delivered to the recording device 2 to update the working progress, and are then stored in a storage rack 3.</p> |
