PURPOSE:To make it possible to move a moving piece continuously by linking sliders having two clamping functions by electric distortion elements through a moving piece. CONSTITUTION:The sliders (electromagnets) 1 and 2 having two clamping functions are linked by the electric distortion elements 3 and 4 through the moving piece 5. Now, a current is conducted in the electromagnet 2 and the electromagnet 2 is clamped to a table 6 comprising a magnetic material. A voltage, which is applied to the electric distortion elements 3 and 4, is changed and two electric distortion elements are simultaneously elongated. Then the electromagnet 1 and the moving piece 5 are moved to the left. Thereafter the clamping of the electromagnet 2 is removed, the electromagnet 1 is clamped, and the voltage, which is applied to the electric distortion elements 3 and 4, is changed. Then they are simultaneously contracted, and the moving piece 5 and the electromagnet 2 are moved to the left. The movement of said moving piece 5 can be made continuous by the control of the increase and decrease of the voltage applied to the electric distortion elements 4 and 5 and by the selection of the timing of clamping. |
