PURPOSE:To enable to automatically stop a liquid pumping-out operation, by a method wherein one end of a small-diameter pipe for sucking air is supported at an intermediate part of a suction pipe, the other end side can be erected and titled freely, the small-diameter pipe is communicated into the suction pipe, and the tip of the small-diameter pipe is adjustedly located to be lower than the liquid level in a large container by a required distance. CONSTITUTION:In a simple pressurizing pump, one end of the small-diameter pipe 10 for sucking air is connected to an intermediate part of the suction pipe 3, the other end side can be freely erected and titled, the pipe 10 is communicated into the suction pipe 3, and an operating mechanism for erecting and tilting the pipe 10 is provided at or near a connecting cylinder 2. Under the condition wherein the tip of the pipe 10 is adjustedly located to be lower than the liquid level in the large container by the required distance as shown by using the operating mechanism, for example an operating lever 13, when the pump is operated and the liquid level is lowered during the liquid pumping-out operation and the tip end of the pipe 10 is exposed above the liquid level, air is sucked into the pipe 10 and is fed into the suction pipe 3, whereby the pumping-up operation is stopped automatically and securely. |
