<p>The disclosure is of a downdraft heater fired by solid, carbonaceous duels such as wood logs, coal and the like. The heater is adapted for burning the fuel in three stages, to obtain nearly complete combustion. The advantages of the heater of the invention resides in its heating efficiency with few products of combustion left to condese on the flue stack, and in its simplicity of operation compared to other devices of this type, and also in the operational safety of the device.</p> |
