The present invention relates to a vinyl chloride-based paste resin and a production method thereof. More specifically, provided are a vinyl chloride-based paste resin and a production method thereof. In the production of the vinyl chloride-based paste resin, a flame retardant adding process is performed after completion of polymerization and before a drying process, thereby exhibiting excellent flame retardancy, improved thermal stability, and reduced viscosity in comparison with an existing simple blending method.
