1523502 Speed-sensitive triggering device A ROGNON 9 March 1976 [27 March 1975] 09276/76 Heading F1K A speed-sensitive triggering device comprises a mobile locking ring 3 for a trigger member resiliently biased to its locking position, a sleeve 16 freely rotating inside the ring at a speed related to a speed to be controlled and including a fly-weight, 18 biased to its rest position by a calibrated spring 19 and mounted in such a manner that under the action of centrifugal force and against the action of the biasing spring 19 it engages with the inner surface of the ring 3 in order to cause it to leave its locking position. The device may control the supply of fuel to an internal combustion engine in such a manner that when the speed of the engine rises above a predetermined speed the engine is stopped when the ring 3 releases a shoulder 24 of a bolt 7, this bolt under the action of a spring 10 tilts a lever 11 which may for instance control the injection of fuel for an internal combustion engine.
