PURPOSE:To enable to stably detect the electrical current generated by flames, by using two flame rods, one of which is formed in the state of a coil, and the other is provided to the inside of a coil form. CONSTITUTION:A flame rod 13 is composed of an outer rod 14, wound in the state of a coil, and an inner rod 15, and they are isolated from each other by an insulator procelain 16. The insulator 16 is fitted to a structure 17 such as a case, keeping insulation from the flame rod 13. A detecting circuit 9 applies the voltage between the outer and the inner rods 14 and 15, and detects the current from flames between these rods. With such an arrangement, the area ratio of two flame rods can be set large, so that the rectifying effect to the flames is made large, too, and the output voltage obtained by smoothening the effects can be set high. Accordingly, the S/N ratio of a detecting circuit is made large, as a result, an acurate operation is obtainable in a combustion detector. |
