PURPOSE:To provide the device which easily performs complex deformation wherein a fold and a shift are present and also prevents an annoying hard-to-see display when a character and a figure are superimposed on a pattern and a background. CONSTITUTION:A device which deforms an outline figure and a character font by coordinate movement arithmetic is provided with a means 5 which selects plural figures to be deformed, a means 12 which specifies deformation areas of the object figures, and a means 7 which deforms the object figures into desired deformed shape after processing them and also has a means 106 which corrects outline data on a figure overlapping with a border line when there is the border line in the desired deformed shape and a means 16 which fringes the figure in a different color from the figure and draws it when the figure is displayed on the pattern. Therefore, associative figures and a character string can be deformed at a time having a fold and a shift irrelevantly to their quantities and even when the characters and figures are displayed on the pattern and background image, the figures and characters are fringed and displayed in an easy-to-see state. |
