Disclosed is a production method of potassium clavulanate, w herein clavulanic acid in the aqueous solution by non-mixable org anic solvent is lead into the contact, in the area of the contact , with the potassium compound with organic carboxylic acid, with the formula R-CO2-H, wherein R is C1-20alkyl, in the solution or suspension so that, the solution of clavulanic acid in the aqueou s phase arises, then in the separation step by the physical metho d the organic phase is separated from the aqueous phase; another step of the preparation method follows, in which the said clavula nic acid salt is isolated from the solution as a solid substance, where the area of the contact is a turbulent chamber containing the chamber of the substantially circular section, which has at l east one tangential inlet, through which the solution of clavulan ic acid and the solution or suspension of the precursor compound salt are lead in, and an axial inlet, and where the content ratio of the water to the organic solvent in the area of the contact i s in the range between 1 : 50 to 1 : 300.
