PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus capable of determining matching between an incoming telephone number of an international call and a registered telephone number on a telephone directory.SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus comprises a storage part in which telephone numbers and predetermined information are associated with each other and if a registered telephone number and an incoming telephone number are matched, predetermined information associated therewith is displayed together with the incoming telephone number. The electronic apparatus also comprises: digit count comparison and determination means for comparing and determining the number of digits of an incoming telephone number and the number of digits of a registered telephone number; acquisition means by which, if it is determined that the number of digits of the incoming telephone number is more than the number of digits of the registered telephone number, a head deleted registered telephone number resulting from deleting zero that is a numerical value at the head of the registered telephone number and a front deleted incoming telephone number for which a numerical portion in the number of digits at a front part of the incoming telephone number is deleted in such a manner that the number of digits is made equal to the head deleted registered telephone number, are acquired; number determination means for determining matching between the head deleted registered telephone number and the front deleted incoming telephone number; and display control means by which, if the matching is determined, predetermined information associated with the registered telephone number is displayed with the incoming telephone number.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
