摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strength improving method of a high energy density heat source weld zone to effectively improve the creep strength and the joint strength of the high energy density heat source weld zone in a work to be welded having the high energy density heat source weld zone. SOLUTION: In a strength improving method of a high energy density heat source weld zone, the strength of the high energy density heat source weld zone 15 of the mode where the columnar structure of the weld metal grows nearly, perpendicularly in the thickness direction and in the weld seam direction, and meets straight in a center of the bead is improved. The surface of the high energy density heat source weld zone 15 is re-melted using a surface melting heat source 11 such as laser beam, and the columnar structure of the weld metal grows toward the bead surface in the center of the weld metal on the melted surface side to improve the strength of the weld zone.</p>
