The vehicle skeleton has at least two similar support frames (14,16,18), consisting of connected sections (22,24,26). The frames are positioned parallel and at relative distances to each other, at right angles to the longitudinal axis (20) of the vehicle. The frames determine the vehicle contour. They are connected via a gridwork of tubes (28,30), the ends of which are fastened to the frames. A central frame is located in the vehicle centre, one at the back, and a front one is connected via tubes (34) to a support bar (32). The tubes follow the vehicle contour. The bar is located at right angles to the longitudinal vehicle axis, and on the level of the lower section of a support frame.
