Substrate cell layers contg. new collagen-contg. or gel-like carrier or amnion or a cellular dermis as substrate and a layer of cultured cells are new. Also claimed is a transport system for cell layers consisting of a non-breakable external housing and an inner space which contains loose intermediate floors for storage of the cell layers (which are fixed by stamping) and, in addn. to nutrient medium, a heating source for temp. regulation and a controllable CO2 inlet.
