PROCESSING SYSTEM OF GRAPHIC DATA

PURPOSE:To facilitate the reduction of a store region as well as the retrieval and collation for the duplicated inputs owing to addition and subtraction only, by sorting the segment data in each sloping direction of line sorting when the graphic data are stored. CONSTITUTION:A control means 1a gives an access to a control program 21a in accordance with the input setting performed throuth a keyboard 4. Then plural spots of the graphic data are supplied by a digitizer 3 and a cursor 31 to obtain the segment data. While the means 1a calculates the slope of the input segment data and sorts it through a sorting means 11. The segment data are stored in a sorted segment data memory region 22a. In such a way, these segment data are almost stored in memory regions of angles 0 deg., 90 deg., 45 deg. and 135 deg. respectively. Thus it is possible to detect easily the duplication of segment data just by giving a comparison among the segement data belonging to the same angle since those segment data are sorted by the sloping angles. This reduces the time needed for collation of duplicated inputs of segment data and improves the processing efficiency of graphic input data.
