The present invention relates to a water meter protecting box, laid underground and easy to adjust the height, which has characteristics that a groove allows a protrusion to be inserted into the upper end surface of the protecting box for protecting the water meter; a plurality of insertion recesses are formed on the outer surface of the protecting box for adjusting the height, of which the outer diameter corresponds to the inner diameter of the water meter protecting box; an insertion rim is inserted into the insertion recess; and a lower protrusion of the insertion rim is inserted into the groove on the upper end surface of the water meter protecting box by enabling a user to vertically push the protecting box for adjusting the height. The water meter protecting box according to the present invention, in the case that the ground surface is raised according to changed in the surrounding conditions, solves the problem to make separate construction unnecessary by enabling the user to vertically raise the protecting box for adjusting the height, to horizontally pull and separate the insertion rim, to reinsert the insertion rim into the insertion recess of the protecting box for adjusting the height according to the raised height of the ground surface and to just push the protecting box for adjusting the height vertically. |
