SOLUTION: A control method for a thermal insulation burner 1 that keeps the temperature of a ladle of this invention comprises the calculation of a storage amount of heat of a ladle 2 upon the end of continuous casting by using a molten steel temperature in the ladle 2 upon the end of continuous casting and information on a state of the ladle 2 upon the end of continuous casting, the calculation of a storage amount of heat of a ladle 2 just before thermal insulation is started in the thermal insulation burner 1 by the using the calculated storage amount of |
