A method for managing and displaying text messages and a mobile terminal, relating to the field of mobile terminal communications. The method disclosed in the present invention comprises: when a mobile terminal displays a text message, on the basis of a preset group message information database and according to group level classification, displaying an interface of a group and text messages corresponding to the group, wherein the group message information database at least comprises group division information and group text message information, the group division information comprising the current division of groups in the terminal, the group level of each group, and the text message ID information comprised within the group, and the group text message information comprising text message IDs and text message content; and when the mobile terminal receives an operation of the user viewing a group message, displaying to the user all the text messages of the group message. The technical solution of the present application achieves the effect of efficient and convenient viewing of important text messages, greatly improving the user experience. |
