PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can recover a fresh and favorable fragrance component of biological material and reduce the recovery rate of an unfavorable fragrance component, and a device which can be used for the method.SOLUTION: In addition to the recovery of a distilled liquid by the conventionally used steam distillation method, a fragrance component passed through as a gas without condensed in a cooling process is recovered by gas-liquid contact in liquid, so that a favorable fragrance of biological material is recovered easily, selectively and efficiently. |
