PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heating container by which a user can obtain a small amount of hot water by preventing hot water from being injected in a large amount, with a valve operating device slightly operated. SOLUTION: In a lid body 200 for closing an upper opening of a container body 100 for containing hot water, there are provided a hot water flow passage 20 for guiding the hot water in the container body 100 to a pouring port 3 and a valve mechanism V opening/closing the hot water flow passage. The valve mechanism V includes a valve body 27 moved between a valve-closed position and a valve-opened position, a valve seat 29 abutting on the valve body 27 in a valve closed state where the valve body 27 is in the valve-closed position, and valve operating devices 9a, 9b operated to move the valve body 27 between the valve-closed position and the valve-opened position. In the outer circumference of the valve seat 29, a flow restricting wall 24 is installed which hangs down in a lower position from the vertical position of the valve seat 29 to surround the outer side of the valve body 27. In the flow restricting wall 24 on the pouring port 3 side, a notched part 25 for hot water is formed which can make hot water flow to the pouring port 3 side through the valve seat 29 and the hot water flow passage 20 from inside the container body 100.
