A surface modifier comprising at least one compound selected from the group consisting of an organosilicon-containing fluoropolymer compound having the general formula (1), a hydrolyzate thereof, and a partial hydrolytic condensate thereof,wherein Rf is a straight or branched perfluoroalkyl of 1 to 10 carbon atoms, a, b, c, d, e and f are each independently 0 or an integer of at least 1, a+b+c+d+e is at least 1, repeating units in parentheses with subscripts a, b, c, d and e may be arranged in any sequence in the formula, g is 0 or 1, h and k each are an integer of 2 to 6, m is an integer of 1 to 3, X is fluorine or trifluoromethyl, R1, R2, and R3 are each independently a monovalent hydrocarbon group of 1 to 10 carbon atoms, and Z is a hydrolyzable group or hydroxyl group. |
