The present invention relates to an imaging apparatus and a method for controlling an imaging apparatus. The method for controlling an imaging apparatus includes a step of photographing an object and generating a pulse signal for an imaging part which obtains an image signal, a step of obtaining an antiphase pulse signal which is a signal of antiphase pulse for the pulse signal based on the generated pulse signal, and a step of controlling a wireless communication part which transmits the image signal by using a wireless communication network according to the antiphase pulse signal.
