PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device which has lower drive voltage and a longer life-span than in the past.SOLUTION: The light-emitting device comprises: an anode; a cathode; a first mixed region between the anode and the cathode; and a second mixed region contacting the first mixed region, between the anode and the cathode. Each of the first mixed region and the second mixed region includes a luminescence material. The luminescence material is a complex containing iridium as a central metal, which can emit light from a triplet excited state.
