CONTROL METHOD AND DEVICE FOR RADIO RESOURCE MANAGEMENT MEASUREMENT

Provided are a control method and device for radio resource management measurement. The method is applied to user equipment. The method comprises: after a non-LTE wireless communication module of user equipment is opened, the user equipment judging whether co-existence interference exists in a frequency at which a main serving cell of a current LTE system is located; if yes, the user equipment judging whether co-existence interference exists in other frequencies which are configured for the user equipment by a base station and used for performing co-existence interference measurement and radio resource management measurement in the equipment; and if co-existence interference does not exist in at least one of the other frequencies, the user equipment performing radio resource management measurement on a neighbour cell at the frequency in which co-existence interference does not exist according to a preset policy. Through the method and device in the embodiments of the present invention, at an appropriate time, user equipment starts to perform radio resource management measurement on a neighbour cell at a non-serving frequency and reports the measurement result so that a base station makes a correct handover judgment according to the reported measurement result.
