<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll supporting base that can prevent a sheet material from being damaged. <P>SOLUTION: In the roll supporting base, a supporting means 11 for supporting a roll A includes a pair of supporting bodies 12 for supporting both ends of shafts (a) projecting at both sides from the sheet material b in a direction of the shaft center of the roll A. The roll supporting base includes: a detection means 16 for detecting the presence/absence of the sheet material b that is displaced in the direction of the shaft center from a normal position while the roll A is supported by the pair of supporting bodies 12; and a winding failure determining means for determining whether the sheet material b is in a winding failure state based on detection information detected by the detection means 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
