<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forgery prevention medium which is hardly forged and can be manufactured at a relatively low cost though having a large area. <P>SOLUTION: The forgery prevention medium includes a first region, a second region, and a third region on a film-like substrate. The first region has a transparent window including a scattering element, and at least one of the second region and the third region has a reflecting layer having a relief structure. When a color difference between the second region and the third region which is measured by observing a surface of the substrate in a vertical direction is denoted as ΔE1 and a color difference between the second region and the third region measured by observing the surface of the substrate through the first region in the same measurement condition as measurement of ΔE1 is denoted as ΔE2, ΔE1 and ΔE1 satisfy one of formulae (1) ¾ΔE1-ΔE2¾>ΔE1 (where ΔE2>ΔE1 is true) and (2) ¾ΔE1-ΔE2¾>ΔE2 (where ΔE1>ΔE2 is true). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
