<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure which can accurately detect a plurality of residual amounts of inks stored in ink cartridges. <P>SOLUTION: The ink cartridge 60 which can be mounted on a recording apparatus 10 having a cartridge mounting part 40 provided with first contacting points 44 and third contacting points 45 includes: at least two of heat conducting members 78 arranged along the direction intersecting the liquid face of an ink chamber 90 for storing the ink, and arranged by bringing into thermally contact with the ink stored in the ink chamber 90; a pyroelectric part 71 provided in accordance with each of the heat conducting members 78 and outputting a signal based on an input from the outside; and a second contacting point 75 arranged in accordance with the pyroelectric part 71, connected electrically with the first contacting points 44, and transmitting the signal from the corresponding pyroelectric part 71 to the recording apparatus 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
