PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a primer set and method for determination of the geographic origin of Koshihikari rice, which are capable of determining the Koshihikari produced in Niigata area from the Koshihikari produced in areas other than the Niigata area, and a method for determining the geographic origin of the Koshihikari.SOLUTION: The primer set for determining the geographic origin of the Koshihikari rice includes a first primer having a base sequence expressed by a sequence number 1, and a second primer having a base sequence expressed by a sequence number 2. Thereby, it is possible to distinguish the Koshihikari produced in the Niigata area from the Koshihikari produced from the areas other than the Niigata area. |
