PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter/receiver for medium propagation, which can accurately transmit/receive various signals in a simple constitution through the use of sound waves propagable through a medium such as a wall portion of a safe, and a storage equipped with the transmitter/receiver for medium propagation. SOLUTION: In the safe 100, the transmitters/receivers 110 and 120 for medium propagation, which transmit/receive the various signals between the inside and outside of the safe 100, are provided on the front and back sides of a door body 102. The transmitters/receivers 110 and 120 comprise: piezoelectric elements 111 and 121 for mutually converting mechanical energy and electrical energy; metal diaphragms 112 and 122 which are disposed in contact with the piezoelectric elements 111 and 121 so as to mutually convert the mechanical energy and the sound waves for the piezoelectric elements 111 and 121; supporting bodies 114 and 124 which support the diaphragms 112 and 122 by point contact so as to transmit/receive the sound waves to/from the diaphragms 112 and 122; and magnets 115 and 125 which are disposed in such a manner as to face the diaphragms 112 and 122, while exposed from the supporting bodies 114 and 124.
