摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte battery, a manufacturing method therefor and the nonaqueous electrolyte battery capable of increasing a charging/discharging capacity, and maintaining a charging/discharging cyclic characteristic for a longer period of time than before. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the positive electrode for the nonaqueous electrolyte battery utilizes a film-forming atmosphere having oxygen gas mixed with fluorine gas at a predetermined ratio, and either or both of targets adding a predetermined amount of fluorine compound to a lithium-complex oxide represented by a general formula LiMO<SB>2</SB>(where M includes one or more of Co, Mn, Ni and Al). By a vapor-phase epitaxial method, the thin film of the lithium-complex oxide is formed on a substrate having a layered crystal structure with a part of oxygen in LiMO<SB>2</SB>substituted to fluorine. The positive electrode for the nonaqueous electrolyte battery is manufactured by using the manufacturing method of the positive electrode, and the positive electrode is used for the nonaqueous electrolyte battery. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
