PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup holding device pushing and opening cup flappers when moving a cup receiving base to a height direction of a cup to be received. SOLUTION: This cup holding device includes: a pair of the cup flappers 61L, 61R supported such that gear parts 61L2, 61R2 formed in shaft parts 61L1, 61R1 meshing with each other, and energized to directions to which cylindrical cup grasp parts 61L4, 61R4 close; and the cup receiving base 51 receiving the cup received in the cup flappers 61L, 61R. The cup holding device includes: a receiving base moving means moving the cup receiving base 51 to the height direction of the cup to be received when receiving the large cup; and a flapper expansion means provided in the cup receiving base 51, pushing and opening the cup flappers 61L, 61R when moving the cup receiving base 51 to the height direction of the cup to be received.
