TIMER-BASED RELIABLE BROADCAST METHOD FOR LOW POWER, LOW DATA RATE WIRELESS PERSONAL AREA NETWORKS

PURPOSE: A trustable broadcasting technique using a timer in a low-power/low data rate Personal Area Network is provided to reduce power consumption by reducing unnecessary feedback information of reception nodes in broadcasting of a data. CONSTITUTION: A transmission node configures a timer cycle as D after data transmission. The transmission node drives a timer. If the transmission node receives NAK(Non Acknowledgement) information from a reception node, the transmission node retransmits data for error correction. The transmission node configures the timer cycle as D. If the transmission node receives ACK(Acknowledgement) information from a reception node, the transmission node transmits next transmission data.
