<p>PURPOSE: A method for cleaning glass dies constituting plastic lens molding die is provided to easily remove resin pollutants attached to plastic lens molding die using a cleaner composition including phenyl ether. CONSTITUTION: A method for cleaning glass dies constituting plastic lens molding die comprises a step for cleaning glass dies using a cleaner composition for a plastic lens molding die. The cleaner composition comprises at least one kind of phenyl ether selected from phenyl ether represented by chemical formula (1) and phenyl ether represented by chemical formula (2).
