The system has a heat receiving device (5) for extracting heat from a storage medium (4) via heat transferring medium, which flows to a saison heat storage (3) via a heat storage circuit (6) and receives and transfers intermediate heat to the heat receiving device. A set of heaters heats an interior of a building (1) and extracts the heat for supplying to the interior. The heating medium transferring the heat energy passes through the heating circuit. The heat extracted by the heat transferring medium from the storage medium is directly supplied to the heating circuit. An independent claim is also included for a method for supplying heat energy to a highly insulated building.
