The invention relates to a device (7), for controlling an electric motor, in particular, a brushless DC motor, in a battery-powered electric tool, with an electronic module (8). The electronic module (8) comprises a power switch with at least one power semiconductor, in particular, for controlled application of an electric voltage to the electric motor and a control circuit for controlling the power semiconductor, such that the electric motor can be operated with an adjustable rotational speed, adjustable torque, or similar. The control device (7) further comprises a switch module (12), having an adjustable actuating mechanism (13) for switching on and/or off the operation of the electric motor. The electronic module (8) and the switch module (12) are designed as separate components. Furthermore, the electronic module (8) and the switch module (12) are arranged on a support (16) such that the electronic module (8) and the switch module (12) are positioned adjacent to each other and form an assembly. |
