<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flexibly cope with extension of a branching device, a drop cable, or the like while cutting down the number of optical closures to be installed and moreover to avoid an operation error, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: An optical closure 1 includes a plurality of tray units 7 each having a plurality of laminated storage trays 71 for storing optical fibers 101, 121 and disposing optical couplers 110. For example, one tray unit 7 is made a high-order unit 7A, and the optical coupler 110 is disposed in the storage tray 71 of the high-order unit 7A. The optical fiber 101 is branched through the optical coupler 110. The other tray unit 7 is made a low-order unit 7B, and a protective sleeve 130 which is a connection part between the optical fiber 101 of an optical fiber cable 100 and an optical fiber 121 of the drop cable 120, and the extra length of the optical fibers 101, 121 are stored in the storage tray 71 of the low-order unit 7B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
